Work experience

Worked as a web developer. Developed and managed clients website as well as helping to develop the in-house software in C#/ASP.NET and later, produced separate, standalone PHP web applications in a LAMP environment.

  • Manage the companies client websites, including taking support requests and developing new areas for them utilising and XML and XSLT system
  • Developed several in-house bespoke web-applications based on the GNU/Linux platform using PHP and XSLT with a MySQL database back-end
  • Create an SEO tool based around the major search engine APIs, including Google, Yahoo! And MSN. Used GD to produce graphs within PHP. Started work on an AJAX version
  • Created and maintained several MySQL databases
  • Helped develop the in-house CRM and CMS based around Microsoft SQL Server 2000 running on Windows Server 2003. The CRM and CMS were programmed in ASP/C# .NET 2.0 framework
  • Help maintain the company network consisting of 40+ computers. Desktops are running Windows XP with a domain server running on Windows Server 2003
